MGT is seeking a Workforce Data Analyst to support the HR & Culture Department in making data-driven decisions. This role will work at the direction of the Strategic Workforce Management Lead to architect and build reports that provide insight into workforce supply and demand and inform tactical resource management. They will have also provide support to HR Leaders in creating standard and ad-hoc reports, analyzing workforce data, identifying data trends, and ensuring HR data integrity. This position will leverage various data sources and fields (headcount, employee demographics, job requisition, compensation, utilization, skills, etc.) to deliver results.


MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Supports the design and execution of resource management framework and develop and track staffing metrics and communicate meaningful insights on trends, forecasts, opportunities for improvement and areas of concern, how metrics impact financial performance, client delivery, and employee engagement
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from complex multi-source datasets including the human resource information system (HRIS), management, employee surveys, employment records, project management tool, and other sources to build, often from scratch, complicated spreadsheet-based models to support the organization's growth and key objectives
  • Creates ad-hoc and standard monthly reports to identify trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover, compensation, and other HR metrics
  • Uses data visualization programs, tools, and techniques to generate dashboards, reports, and presentations that aid in data storytelling.
  • Provide project support for HR programs and initiatives such as performance management, reward and recognition programs, M&A activity, and recruitment to support department FY22 strategic plan

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Analysis, HR, or Business Administration
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in Human Resources or data analysis experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, complex functions, VBA)
  • Experience gathering unstructured data to transform and analyze statistical data, generate reports, and summarize analysis into understandable, actionable reports, and recommendations
  • Ability to design/generate and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain and analyze data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to identify and articulate results in easy-to-understand business terms
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Self-starter with experience working effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, diverse, and dynamic environment with frequent deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Data Analytics Certifications preferred
  • Experience in a professional service environment strongly preferred
